I took the liberty of being a 19 year old and rest among the mangroves with a puma all day yesterday instead of updating on what crazy shit happened on Day Three of Surf Expo 2010.

No crazy shit happened on Day Three.
Why do I keep capitalizing Day Three? I drew and etchasketched and made friends and laughed and cried and conducted super secret…things… that I will speak of later.

I painted this rather quickly for Get A Board. If any of my closer friends out there are wondering why the guitar isn’t in the video interview, it’s because “hugfuck the world” is not allowed to be painted on raffle-guitars. Now you know. Don’t do it!

This is roughly how I feel after the weekend. I sold some pieces, traded some art, met great people, drank a lot of Ovaltine, and got a lot of inspirational texts from Mum.
I’ll be photographing all the new work this week so you can get up close and personal (really awkwardly intimate hopefully), so be on the lookout like a Galago playing road trip bingo.

GALAGOOOOOOOO MILKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds like an amazing experience and you were definately a high light of the expo! Well done H-Payne! You have succeeded in such a difficult field at a young age that I am impressed and inspired as always.
if i had ever said (or typed or wrote) “hugfuck”, you KNOW gramma and grampa woulda gone all sorts of crazy on my shit! has your mom ever said “i’ll wash your mouth out with soap?” or “let me put pepper on your tongue”? if not, you are ONE lucky dawg
That’s my boy.
Hahah
